This article was about Viral Marketing. Viral Marketing is a certain method of marketing where a company's goods and services are shared amongst consumers. The idea of this type of marketing is to advertise a company, good or service, on the internet, social media and other online networking to increase awareness. A good example off this is free games you download on your iPhone or iPad. These apps are free, but you always will see some annoying pop-up advertisement, showcasing some type of other product. You then have to pause the game hit the little "exit" button and then resume whatever you were playing. This has probably happened to everyone, and it may be an annoying tweak but it really does spread awareness for various company's. Of course not all viral marketing is done through apps, but the idea of and advertisement popping up while you're doing something completely different; is very common.
